Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in construction management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices.
• In-depth understanding of building materials, construction details, and relevant regulations and quality standards.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all phases of the construction lifecycle.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage conflicts and handle crisis situations effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent time management and project coordination skills.
• Effective communication skills across various platforms with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare formal correspondence to clients and suppliers.
• Good understanding of contractual obligations and terms to ensure compliance and avoid penalties.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates are preferred to support business communication needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction projects from planning through to completion.
• Conduct detailed project reviews to plan deliverables and prepare cost estimates.
• Oversee both on-site and off-site construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
• Manage resources efficiently, including manpower, materials, and inventory tracking.
• Ensure all contractual obligations and performance requirements are met.
• Prepare and present internal and external project progress reports.
• Proactively identify potential issues and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
• Analyse project risks and develop strategies to minimize impact.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and proper construction techniques at all stages.
