We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to further strengthen our Maintenance department.

As a Maintenance Technician you are required to executes all tasks related to preventive maintenance as well as troubleshooting in order to ensure reliability of the plant on a daily basis

Some of your main duties & responsibilities:

Safety & Compliance

• Comply with Oleon HSE policies, procedures, and permit-to-work requirements
• Follow Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) procedures and electrical safety regulations
• Participate in risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the work area
Ensure all maintenance activities are performed safely and in accordance with company standards
• 
  

Preventive & Corrective Maintenance

• Perform regular inspection, servicing, and maintenance of electrical systems to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, equipment failures, and power disruptions efficiently
• Assist in predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability
• Execute maintenance activities according to planned maintenance schedules

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation systems
• Troubleshoot electrical faults, instrumentation failures, and control system issues to minimize production downtime
• Support maintenance activities during plant shutdowns and turnarounds
Assist in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for recurring equipment failures

Documentation & Reporting

• Record maintenance activities, findings, and corrective actions in the maintenance management system
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, drawings, and technical documentation
• Report equipment abnormalities and recommend improvement actions

Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with maintenance technicians, production teams, and engineering to ensure safe and reliable plant operations
• Provide technical guidance, training, and supervision to junior technicians when required
Provide on-call support during breakdowns or power-related emergencies to ensure continuity of plant operations

Others

• Monitor and support contractors performing maintenance work on site
• Ensure contractors comply with safety requirements and site regulations

You'll succeed if:

• You have to possess at least a SPM/"O" Level/Skills Certificate/Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• You have Minimum 2–3 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within manufacturing, chemical, oleochemical, palm oil, food processing, or process industries. Fresh graduate encourage to apply
• You have experience with troubleshooting industrial electrical systems and field instrumentation
• You are familiar with preventive maintenance systems, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• You have Knowledge of (PLC and DCS systems, Control valves and transmitters, Motors, MCC, LV electrical systems & etc
• You have ability to work in hot environments, at height, and in physically demanding conditions
• You are willing to perform shift work
• You must be willing to work in Pulau Indah, Port Klang
