Position : Technical Writer

Salary : RM 3,500 - RM 6,000

Location : Damansara Uptown

Working Hours : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to create clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation for our software products and services. The role works closely with technical and product teams to translate complex technical information into simple, accessible content for both end users and internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation such as user manuals, SOPs, API documentation, installation guides, and release notes
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, QA, and support teams to gather accurate technical information
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content
• Maintain and organize documentation repositories, knowledge bases, and internal resources
• Review and edit documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity
• Ensure all documentation complies with company writing standards and style guidelines
• Participate in product discussions and release reviews to stay updated on system changes and new features
• Continuously improve documentation structure, usability, and delivery processes

Job Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in software or IT environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
• Familiarity with software development concepts, APIs, and system workflows
• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript, Python) is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation tasks efficiently
• Good collaboration skills and ability to work with technical and non-technical teams

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
