Responsibilities

Position : Application Support Assistant Manager

Salary : RM 6,000 - RM 8,000

Location : Kepong, KL

Working Hours : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

We are seeking an Application Support Assistant Manager to oversee daily application support operations, ensuring stable system performance, timely incident resolution, and high service quality. This role requires strong leadership, technical understanding, and the ability to manage complex application issues while coordinating across multiple teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily application support operations across multiple support teams to ensure timely issue resolution and service quality
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members to improve performance and capability
  • Manage incident, problem, and change management processes in compliance with ITSM standards and SLAs
  • Analyse and resolve complex application issues, providing root cause analysis and effective solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Development, Infrastructure, Sales, and Business) to improve system stability and user experience
  • Monitor application performance, identify trends, and provide regular operational and management reports
  • Maintain and improve support processes, documentation, and knowledge base resources
  • Coordinate team scheduling and ensure adequate support coverage, including on-call arrangements
  • Drive initiatives to reduce recurring issues and improve overall system efficiency
  • Provide timely updates to stakeholders and management on critical incidents and system health

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in application support, IT operations, or related roles
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead position
  • Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes (incident, problem, change management)
  • Experience using ticketing systems and application monitoring tools
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to make independent decisions
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong coordination skills and a collaborative mindset

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
