Position : Software Specialist

Salary : RM 3,000 - RM 4,500

Location : Kepong, KL

Working Hours : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Specialist to design, develop, and support customized software solutions based on customer requirements. This role works closely with Application Support and R&D teams to ensure reliable system performance, timely enhancements, and high customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software solutions based on customer requirements and specifications
• Engage with customers to gather feedback on features, enhancements, and customization needs
• Prepare technical documentation including customization specifications and system updates
• Develop and maintain test data and support testing activities for system enhancements and releases
• Participate in product demonstrations for both new and existing customers
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve testing processes and delivery efficiency
• Work closely with R&D teams on system enhancements, bug fixes, and customization requests
• Provide L1 and L2 support, including troubleshooting and data corrections when required (including after-hours support for critical issues)
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for product quality and operational processes
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by management

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, application support, or related roles
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently
• Experience in software testing, including test case design and execution
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts
• Good communication and collaboration skills with both technical teams and customers
• Knowledge of web servers, virtual machines (VM), or ISO compliance standards is an advantage
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under minimal supervision
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage
• Training will be provided for suitable candidates

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
