We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Digital Media Operator / Digital Ingest Technician to join our Media Operations team. This role is responsible for the quality control, compliance review, processing, editing, and delivery of advertising and media content for broadcast, digital, social, and online platforms.
The successful candidate will be a proactive self-starter with strong technical knowledge of video formats, post-production workflows, and broadcast standards. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure all media assets are processed accurately and delivered within agreed service levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform FTP administration, file transfers, and media asset management.
- Review, ingest, transcode, and process digital media files.
- Conduct technical quality control (QC) checks and prepare QC reports.
- Ensure media content complies with broadcast, digital, social, and online platform requirements.
- Create, edit, and correct broadcast-compliant files using post-production tools.
- Perform digital, social, and online version editing when required.
- Process client orders and media assets efficiently to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
- Collaborate proactively with internal teams to ensure timely completion of work.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and communicate technical issues promptly.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail when reviewing media content.
- Support continuous improvement of operational workflows and processes.
RequirementsEssential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in media operations, video production, video editing, broadcast operations, playout, multimedia, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Good understanding of broadcast file formats such as MXF, MOV, and related standards.
- Good knowledge of digital, social, and online video formats including MP4, WebM, and similar formats.
- Understanding of audio standards, audio terminology, and media quality requirements.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Audition or other audio editing software.
- Knowledge of transcoding workflows and file creation techniques.
- Good understanding of video containers, codecs, and encoding principles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in time-sensitive environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop.
- Ability to update graphics, text layers, and edit visual assets.
- Familiarity with the Adobe Creative Cloud ecosystem.
- Experience in broadcast compliance, media delivery, or advertising operations environments.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
