Responsibilities

• You must manage, administer, and support Windows server infrastructure and related services, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance with organizational standards.
• You are expected to provide L3 support, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution for infrastructure-related incidents and service requests.
• You must design, implement, and support migration activities involving Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft 365 platforms.
• You are expected to administer and maintain core infrastructure services including Active Directory, Exchange, Remote Desktop Services, file services, print services, DHCP, web servers, and Citrix environments.
• You must monitor server health, infrastructure services, and event logs, proactively identifying issues and implementing corrective actions to ensure system stability.
• You are expected to manage and maintain backup operations, perform periodic backup validation, and execute recovery activities when required.
• You must design and implement batch job scheduling and monitoring routines while ensuring failed jobs are identified and resolved promptly.
• You are expected to manage print services and optimize print queue operations to ensure service availability.
• You must create, review, and maintain operational documentation including SOPs, knowledge base articles, and root cause analysis reports.
• You are expected to ensure all supported systems comply with IT security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• You must work closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to support system enhancements, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise Windows infrastructure environments.
• Strong experience performing Windows Server and Microsoft 365 migration activities, including administration and support.
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services, including domain controllers and related infrastructure services.
• Strong experience managing Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
• Experience administering Windows File Servers, Print Servers, and DHCP Servers.
• Strong experience supporting Citrix environments, including non-persistent VDI infrastructures.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam Backup & Replication and Backup Exec. Senior Windows Infrastructure Engineer
• Experience supporting infrastructure services including Active Directory, Exchange, file services, terminal services, web servers, and Citrix platforms.
• Strong knowledge of server monitoring, event log analysis, and proactive infrastructure management.
• Experience in backup administration, disaster recovery, restoration procedures, and data integrity validation.
• Hands-on experience performing installation, configuration, and L3 support for infrastructure systems.
• Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, RCA reports, and knowledge base articles.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience ensuring infrastructure environments meet IT security, compliance, and operational requirements.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
