1. Manage the Company’s email systems, including, troubleshooting, including:
- Account Management: Managing user accounts and permissions, including creating, modifying, and deleting user email accounts (e.g., Office 365, Google Workspace).
- Security & Compliance: Ensuring up-to-date security protocols are in place. Managing spam filters, phishing threats and encryption, as well as accessing or auditing mailboxes when necessary.
- Troubleshooting: Resolving user or delivery issues, including email flow issues such as blocked or bounced emails.
- Backup & Recovery: Performing regular backups of email data to ensure business continuity and monitoring email server performance.
2. Manage the Company’s IT hardwares, softwares, and office network, including:
- Setting up, configuring, and deploying new laptops for employees.
- Maintenance, including Installing software, updates, and patches.
- Troubleshooting, including resolving hardware issues, OS errors and network connectivity problems.
- Security: Implementing security protocols (antivirus, firewalls) and managing local administrator rights.
- Inventory Management: Tracking hardware assets and managing software licenses.
- Handles office network connectivity by installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware like routers, switches,
- and firewalls. Monitor network performance for optimal speed, troubleshoot connectivity issues, manage security, and set up VPNs for remote access to ensure reliable data communication.
3. Responsible for ISO 27001 development, implementation, and maintenance in terms of operational IT and security governance, including:
- ISMS Development & Implementation: Actively developing the Information Security Management System(ISMS) framework, including handling policies, procedures, and technical standards.
- Configuration Management: Establishing and maintaining "Standard Build" templates for hardware, software, and services to ensure systems are hardened by default.
- Policy Enforcement & Compliance: Translating security policies into technical reality, such as enforcing password policies, managing firewall rules, and restricting administrative access.
- Access Control: Managing user identities, onboarding/offboarding, and privileged access rights across systems, ensuring they are regularly reviewed.
- Asset Management: Maintaining an asset register and ensuring secure configuration, maintenance, and disposal of equipment.
- Monitoring & Internal Audit: Monitoring system logs for security events using SIEM tools, performing vulnerability scanning, and conducting internal audits to detect configuration drift.
- Incident Management: Responding to security incidents and assisting in the root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
