Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, material availability, and machine capacity.
• Prioritize production orders to meet delivery deadlines.
• Adjust schedules proactively in response to production delays or material shortages.
• Monitor raw material, components, and work-in-progress levels.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Minimize excess inventory and reduce production downtime.
• Serve as a liaison between production, procurement, engineering, and quality teams.
• Communicate schedule changes or potential delays to stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with customer requirements and delivery commitments.
• Maintain production reports, KPIs, and performance metrics.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and suggest improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning and production efficiency.
• Ensure production activities comply with company SOPs and industry standards (e.g., semiconductor manufacturing standards, ISO certifications).
• Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory, and changes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in production planning, preferably in precision manufacturing or semiconductor industry.
• Proficient in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Knowledge of semiconductor production processes or sheet metal/precision part manufacturing is a plus.
