Responsibilities
Accounts Assistant Job Scope
Core Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date ledgers, journals, and databases. Ensure all transactions are properly documented and filed for audit purposes.
Process supplier invoices, staff claims, and vendor payments. Monitor receivables, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding balances to maintain healthy cash flow.
Handle daily bank deposits, prepare payment vouchers, and reconcile bank statements with company records to identify discrepancies.
Assist in preparing monthly management accounts, financial summaries, and statutory reports. Support compliance with tax filings, payroll, and regulatory requirements.
Provide documentation and schedules for internal and external audits. Help implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Organize financial documents, maintain filing systems, and support the finance team in ad‑hoc tasks and projects.
