Job Description

Responsibilities

  • To deliver technical support to all IT requests, which include hardware & software
  • To provide support to all IT operations and functions, such as documentation, IT inventory audit, IT Security, IT projects, Company BCP, and IT-related administration
  • To maintain database integrity through the backup, restoration, and recovery procedures.
  • To deliver/resolve IT service requests within an agreed-upon/acceptable period and standard
  • Supporting the implementation of new technologies and systems.
  • Other - to assist with IT-related tasks given by the superior, for example, to develop reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).

IT Security and Monitoring

  • Administration and maintenance of security devices and their related infrastructure
  • Administer user security - add/delete user ID, maintain user access rights
  • Administer firewall policy and firmware upgrades regularly
  • Administer security monitoring incidents
  • Administer annual pentest findings
  • Working closely with SOC on cybersecurity monitoring and incidents

System Administration of Microsoft Active Directory

  • Apply OS patches regularly and upgrade administrative tools and utilities
  • Administer user security - add/delete user ID, maintain user access rights
  • Backup and recovery - ensuring all required file systems and system data are backed up successfully to the appropriate media
  • Configure/add new system services as necessary
  • Server capacity and performance planning
  • Any other system administrative tasks assigned by the seniors

Networking

  • Administration and maintenance of the Company's network infrastructure.

IT Support (System, Application, Office 365, Backup and Recovery)

  • Troubleshooting, software installation, systems backups, archiving, disaster recovery, and providing support when necessary.
  • Administration and maintenance of in-house application security matrices.
  • In-house PC/laptop hardware issues (first-level support)
  • Liaise with the vendor on hardware issues, third-party software errors, BCP activities, backup and recovery testing, etc
  • Attend to in-house IT Request
  • Office 365 administration– add/delete user ID, maintain user email, and rules filter

IT Inventory Management

  • Managing the administration and maintenance of computer stations and software for the Company
  • Assist in purchasing software, hardware, and other IT supplies. Ensures that company assets are maintained responsibly

- Compliance and Risk Management: Assisting with IT documentation, compliance, and risk management efforts.

- If applicable, assist team members in developing reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Excel, etc.

-To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time

-To observe and comply at all times with the internal policies & procedural manuals/SC/ and other Rules and Regulations.

-To undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required/assigned by the MD/Company.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum 2 years of relevant IT experience

· Familiar with SQL language and database knowledge

· Good working knowledge in Windows OS

· Good working knowledge in Microsoft Office

· Familiar with MS Office applications with emphasis on mass data manipulation tools such as Excel (Pivot tables, Macros and VLookups)

· Possess good IT security, IT documentation and database knowledge

· Knowledge in SQL server administration will be advantaged

· Familiarity with AI including frameworks and tools.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
