Job Description

Responsibilities

Job description

  • Define the direction and scope for the production team to address customer needs and meet stakeholder expectations in a challenging environment
  • Responsible for the activity and results of the production team
  • Leads, motivates the team, make sure the department is appropriate in terms of staffing, competences and activity requirements
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, including work schedules and facilities security of the entire team, and takes disciplinary measures required
  • Organizes the activity of production team to achieve production targets required and ensure compliance with norms and standards (pull flow, quality, safety, etc.) in place
  • Control equipment operation and reacts quickly to solve problems identified by visual control systems (deviations from standards) to reduce wasted time and products
  • Ensure timely submission of suggestions by their team (LISS)
  • Encourages regular suggestion submissions, defines priorities, allocates budgets accordingly and follow-up on implementation
  • Pilots problem solving projects and allocates the resources required for their achievement
  • Share on the company’s strategy in order for each one to understand their contribution
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures, including work schedules and facilities security of the entire team
  • Ensure production standards are met which includes ensure zero balancing of chips and other clean room standards
  • Ensure production quality issues are properly addressed through continuous follow up with respective engineering team to implement corrective and preventive actions

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical or equivalent
  • Knowledge and respect of the Quality, Safety, Environment (Q.S.E) policy, its objectives and instructions
  • Proficient in lean manufacturing tools (Kaizen board, Kamishibai, Red bin) and people empowerment tools (suggestions, flash meeting)
  • Proficient in lean improvement tools (QRQC, 8D, SMED, TPM)
  • Proficient in team general organization (working hours, equipment’s, standards, reporting systems)
  • Proficient in Microsoft word, excel and powerpoint
  • Good problem solving skill
  • Good communication skill
  • Good leadership skill
