Role Overview
XDAi is an AI-powered real estate investment intelligence platform being developed under Xavia Development to support feasibility analysis, investor reporting, capital raising, project monitoring, and decision-making across real estate development opportunities.
We are looking for an Associate Founder / Venture Lead to help drive XDAi from early-stage platform into a fundable, commercially scalable venture.
This is not a conventional employee role. The right candidate will work closely with the founder and senior leadership to represent XDAi externally, originate strategic opportunities, support fundraising, build investor and partner relationships, and help shape the commercial direction of the platform.
The role is suited for someone with strong founder energy, high ownership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate across real estate, technology, capital markets, and business development.
Key ResponsibilitiesCapital Raising & Investor Development
- Support and lead fundraising efforts for XDAi, including investor outreach, pitch preparation, investor follow-ups, and capital partner engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with angel investors, venture capital firms, family offices, real estate investors, strategic partners, and government/startup ecosystem stakeholders.
- Develop investor materials, business cases, financial narratives, valuation positioning, and funding proposals.
- Help position XDAi as a credible AI-enabled real estate investment and development intelligence platform.
Business Development & Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and secure partnerships with real estate developers, family offices, asset managers, architects, funds, consultants, and technology partners.
- Build commercial pathways for XDAi, including pilot users, founding members, strategic clients, white-label opportunities, and institutional partnerships.
- Represent XDAi in meetings, networking events, startup programmes, investor sessions, and industry engagements.
Platform Commercialisation
- Work with the founder and product team to translate market needs into product priorities.
- Provide feedback on user experience, investor dashboard requirements, reporting features, feasibility tools, and commercial use cases.
- Support the development of pricing models, go-to-market strategy, user acquisition plans, and early revenue channels.
- Help turn XDAi from an internal Xavia intelligence system into a scalable SaaS / platform business.
Real Estate Investment & Market Intelligence
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, feasibility reviews, investor benchmarking, and industry trend analysis.
- Support the evaluation of real estate development opportunities across Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, and other target markets.
- Assist in preparing project summaries, investment memos, feasibility presentations, and risk-mitigation narratives.
Founder Office & Execution
- Work directly with the founder on strategic priorities, fundraising campaigns, investor communications, and business planning.
- Drive execution across multiple workstreams with speed, discipline, and accountability.
- Help manage timelines, follow-ups, external parties, and commercial deliverables.
- Operate with a high level of independence, urgency, discretion, and founder-level ownership.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is commercially sharp, articulate, resourceful, and comfortable operating in an early-stage environment where structure is still being built.
You should have strong interest or experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Venture capital, fundraising, private capital, family office networks, or investor relations
- Real estate development, investment, asset management, or real estate advisory
- Startups, SaaS, AI platforms, proptech, fintech, or venture building
- Business development, strategic partnerships, corporate development, or founder office roles
- Financial modelling, market analysis, investment analysis, or commercial strategy
Required Qualifications
- Strong business development, investor relations, fundraising, or strategic partnership experience.
- Ability to communicate confidently with investors, senior stakeholders, partners, and clients.
- Strong commercial judgment and ability to understand both real estate and technology narratives.
- Comfortable preparing pitch decks, investment summaries, financial narratives, business proposals, and strategic documents.
- High initiative, strong follow-through, and ability to operate without constant supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical ability and comfort with numbers, financial models, market sizing, and commercial assumptions.
- Based in Singapore or able to operate actively within the Singapore business and investor ecosystem.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in real estate investment, development, asset management, venture capital, private equity, family office, proptech, fintech, or SaaS.
- Existing network among investors, family offices, developers, agents, consultants, banks, accelerators, or startup ecosystem players.
- Familiarity with Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, or wider Asia-Pacific real estate markets.
- Experience raising capital, supporting fundraising campaigns, or building investor pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Urban Planning, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline. Advanced degree preferred but not mandatory.
What Success Looks Like
Within the first 3 to 6 months, the Associate Founder / Venture Lead should be able to:
- Build a qualified investor and strategic partner pipeline for XDAi.
- Secure meaningful investor conversations and partnership discussions.
- Support the refinement of XDAi’s pitch, funding narrative, and go-to-market strategy.
- Help convert market feedback into product and commercial priorities.
- Drive early-stage visibility, credibility, and traction for XDAi.
- Contribute directly to fundraising, pilot user acquisition, and commercial validation.
