Job Description

Responsibilities

The Programmes Intern (full-time, hybrid in Singapore) will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of youth-focused career exposure initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with programme design, preparing materials, coordinating logistics with schools and partners, and helping to run both in-person and virtual sessions. The intern will communicate regularly with students, volunteers, and corporate partners, respond to enquiries, and provide on-the-ground support during events. The role also involves tracking attendance and feedback, maintaining databases, and supporting basic monitoring and evaluation tasks. This is a hybrid role based in Singapore, with a combination of on-site activities and work-from-home tasks as required by programme needs.

Requirements

  • Program management skills, including coordinating activities, managing timelines, and supporting smooth delivery of multiple programmes.
  • Analytical skills to track participation, interpret feedback, and support reporting and programme improvement.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with students, educators, volunteers, and corporate partners in a clear and respectful manner.
  • Training and facilitation skills to assist in delivering workshops, briefings, and engagement activities for young people and volunteers.
  • Demonstrated interest in social mobility, youth development, education, or the nonprofit sector.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small team, adapt to changing needs, and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, video conferencing platforms).
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., social sciences, education, business, or related disciplines) is an advantage.
