Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Air Export Operations Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end air export operations, ensuring timely and compliant shipment handling.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with suppliers and customers to arrange cargo collection and delivery
  • Plan and arrange cargo pickup, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform physical cargo checks upon receipt to ensure compliance with documentation and shipment requirements
  • Arrange bookings with airlines and co-loaders
  • Prepare and process Air Waybills (AWB), including CCN
  • Handle export transfer arrangements and slot bookings with terminals
  • Declare export permits and ensure compliance with local regulations
  • Liaise with ground handling agents (e.g., SATS, dnata) to ensure smooth cargo acceptance and uplift
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize delays
  • Ensure proper documentation, including invoices, packing lists, and export-related paperwork
  • Submit export declarations and Cargo Manifest Declarations (CMD) accurately and on time
  • Identify and handle both general cargo and Dangerous Goods (DG) in accordance with regulatory requirements

    Job Requirements
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in air export operations within the freight forwarding or logistics industry
  • Strong knowledge of end-to-end air export procedures and documentation
  • Familiar with handling all types of cargo, including general cargo and Dangerous Goods (DG)
  • Good understanding of export permit declarations, customs requirements, and CMD submissions
  • Ability to interpret and verify commercial invoices, packing lists, and cargo details
  • Hands-on experience dealing with airlines, co-loaders, and ground handling agents
  • Possess relevant certifications/licenses:Forklift LicensePermit Declaration LicenseDangerous Goods (DG) Handling Certification
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and coordination skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently
