Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • Serve as the key liaison for Japanese clients and contractors, ensuring effective communication and strong long-term partnerships.
  • Lead the preparation of sales proposals, quotations, tender submissions and contractual documentation in accordance with project requirements.
  • Drive business development by identifying, monitoring, and securing upcoming and ongoing project opportunities.
  • Manage and respond to sales enquiries, with a focus on converting leads into secured projects.
  • Oversee project lifecycle from tendering through execution, ensuring alignment with timelines, budget, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with Technical and Operation teams to develop viable engineering solutions and client-specific strategies.
  • Engage and manage stakeholders at all levels, ensuring smooth project execution and optimal resource utilisation.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams in managing client expectations and delivering successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to overall sales strategy, market expansion, and continuous improvement of business processes.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical discipline is preferred.
  • Minimum 8 – 12 years of relevant sales/ business development experience, preferably in the Construction industry.
  • Proven track record in managing key accounts and delivering successful project wins.
  • Proficiency in Japanese is essential, with strong verbal and written communicate skills to effectively engage Japanese-speaking clients.
  • Strong understanding of construction project processes, tendering and contract management.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and commit to extended working hours when necessary.

Working Hours: (Mon to Fri) – 9am to 5.30pm
