Job Summary

We are looking for a professional and skilled Spa Therapist to provide a range of therapeutic body treatments and massages to our guests. The ideal candidate will be passionate about wellness and dedicated to providing a high-standard of relaxation and healing. You will be responsible for creating a tranquil environment and tailoring treatments to meet the specific wellness goals of each client.

Key Responsibilities

• Treatment Execution: Perform a variety of professional massage and body treatments, including:Body Massages (e.g., Swedish, Deep Tissue, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone) [Edit based on your menu]Body Scrubs, Wraps, and Detox treatments.Reflexology or specialized wellness therapies.
• Client Assessment: Conduct pre-treatment consultations to identify client preferences, medical contraindications, and areas of tension to ensure a safe and effective session.
• Ambiance Management: Prepare and maintain the treatment room to ensure a serene atmosphere (e.g., adjusting lighting, temperature, and music).
• Product Knowledge: Provide expert advice on wellness products and essential oils, recommending home-care rituals to enhance the benefits of the spa treatments.
• Hygiene & Maintenance: Strict adherence to sanitation protocols. Ensure all linens, towels, and equipment are cleaned and replaced after every session.
• Client Relations: Maintain a professional and calm demeanor, ensuring guests feel welcomed and pampered throughout their visit.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Certification: A recognized certification or diploma in Massage Therapy, Spa Therapy, or a related wellness field (e.g., ITEC, CIDESCO, or an accredited vocational certificate).
• Experience:  Experience in a professional spa, hotel, or wellness center is preferred. We welcome candidates who have completed rigorous training programs.
• Technical Competency: Proven proficiency in various massage techniques and the ability to apply the correct pressure and sequence for different treatment types.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (standing and applying pressure for extended periods) throughout the workday.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse clientele.
• Professionalism: Commitment to high standards of personal grooming and professional ethics.
• Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, to meet the needs of our guests.
