Assistant Supervisor (Mixed Rice Stall)
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Stall Supervisor in managing the daily operations of the mixed rice stall
Prepare and cook a variety of Singapore-style mixed rice (cai fan/economy rice) dishes according to company recipes and standards
Ensure food quality, taste, portion control, and presentation standards are maintained
Assist in supervising stall staff and allocating daily duties
Support staff training and ensure adherence to operational procedures
Serve customers, handle enquiries, and resolve minor customer issues professionally
Monitor stock levels and assist in ordering and replenishing ingredients and supplies
Ensure proper food storage, stock rotation, and inventory control
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the stall, kitchen equipment, and work areas
Assist in cashiering, sales reconciliation, and daily reporting when required
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, workplace safety requirements, and company policies
Perform stall opening and closing duties
Carry out any other duties assigned by management
Requirements
Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents may apply
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in mixed rice (cai fan/economy rice) stall operations
Able to prepare and cook Singapore-style mixed rice dishes independently
Basic supervisory or team-leading experience is preferred
Good communication and customer service skills
Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle operational demands
Knowledge of food hygiene and food safety practices
Working Hours
6-day work week
Required to work weekends and public holidays according to operational needs
