Job Summary

Manage and execute accounting functions including accounts receivable/payable, vessel disbursement accounts, bank reconciliations, and GST submissions to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts receivable and payable transactions to ensure timely payments and maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare monthly vessel disbursement accounts for submission to overseas principals and customers to secure reimbursements
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify and validate financial records for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare and submit GST returns in compliance with regulatory tax requirements
• Maintain organized documentation and filing systems to support audit readiness and enable efficient information retrieval
• Utilize MS Office and ABSS Accounting Software to accurately record and manage financial transactions and data
• Communicate clearly and professionally in written and verbal English to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Work independently with a positive, friendly, and responsible attitude to meet deadlines and support team objectives

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience
