Job Description

Responsibilities

Location: West area

Working hours: 5 days work week

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Human Resources, Assistant Manager to oversee the full spectrum of HR functions and support the organization's people strategy. The successful candidate will play a key role in talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and HR operations while partnering closely with management to drive business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resource Management

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, training, and offboarding.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance to management and employees on HR-related matters and employment legislation.
  • Handle employee relations issues, disciplinary matters, grievance management, and conflict resolution.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment activities to attract and retain suitable talent.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand manpower requirements and workforce planning needs.
  • Manage onboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.

Performance & Employee Development

  • Support performance appraisal processes and employee development initiatives.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development programs.
  • Foster employee engagement and promote a positive workplace culture.

Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support

  • Oversee compensation and benefits administration.
  • Work closely with payroll personnel to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Support salary reviews, bonus exercises, and benefits benchmarking where required.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Prepare HR reports, manpower statistics, and management updates.
  • Support audits and ensure proper HR governance practices.

Strategic HR Support

  • Partner with management to support organizational growth and change initiatives.
  • Recommend HR improvements and process enhancements to improve efficiency and employee experience.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a managerial or senior HR generalist capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and local HR practices.
  • Experience managing the full spectrum of HR functions.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
