Job Summary

Provide Level 2 support for Java-based applications by analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents in a production environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for Java-based applications in production to maintain system availability and performance
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents and manage service requests to minimize downtime
• Analyze existing application code to identify issues and implement effective solutions
• Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions to avoid recurrence of incidents
• Write and execute SQL queries to validate data and support troubleshooting activities
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to coordinate issue resolution and deployment activities
• Coordinate rollback activities promptly in case of failed deployments to restore system stability
• Update configuration documentation accurately for all approved changes to maintain system records
• Restart failed batch jobs and validate output files to ensure successful job completion

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience working in a production support environment
