Responsibilities
- performing physical examinations on patients
- making rounds in the hospital to check up on patients' conditions and recovery
- noting down patients' medical history and records
- diagnosing minor illnesses and ailments in patients
- assisting surgeons in surgeries
- ordering laboratory tests and scans, and analysing the results
- prescribing medications to patients
- developing and managing patents' treatment plans
- providing counselling to patients on their treatments and recovery processes
- advising patients on good health practices and preventative care
- setting fractures in patients
- stitching wounds of injured patients
