The Business and Customer Development Executive will be responsible for generating leads, identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and driving sales across the group of companies of our interior furnishing products (wallpapers, carpet tiles, rugs, décor pieces) and end-to-end interior solutions (design, build, and renovation projects). This role combines and balance of sales acumen, consultative selling with project-based business development, requiring both product knowledge and basic understanding of interior design principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both B2C (homeowners) and B2B (offices, developers, designers) segments.
- Promote and sell interior furnishing products and turnkey renovation services.
- To cross / up-sell products meeting interior furnishing needs.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations to understand requirements and offer suitable solutions.
- Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through networking, referrals, and digital channels.
- Converting inquiries into confirmed projects or product sales.
- Build, nurture and maintain strong, short / long-term client relationship.
- Follow-up on quotation confirmation, proposals, on-hand projects, payment terms.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and after-sales support.
- Stay up to date with design trends, materials and product specifications.
- Understand market landscape, competitor offerings and market pricing.
- Feedback and sharing to management team on market trends and customer preferences.
- Collaborate with design, project and business development team, ensuring customers’ requirements are met in a timely manner.
- Prepare and submit weekly sales reports.
- Weekly updates on project progress.
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, quotations, payment, customer interaction in working platform (Odoo)
