This role focuses on building long-term strategic partnerships with key accounts, developing tailored business plans, and ensuring strong in-store execution to achieve sales, distribution, and visibility targets.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, analytical, and relationship-driven, with a strong understanding of FMCG or consumer healthcare dynamics and proven leadership in managing both accounts and field execution teams.

In this role, you’ll get to:

1. Account Management

  • Develop, strengthen, and sustain long-term partnerships with key accounts, modern trade, and chained pharmacies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all account matters, ensuring timely communication and proactive issue resolution.
  • Understand customer business models, needs, and strategies to develop mutually beneficial growth plans.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with key customers to track performance and strengthen collaboration.

2. Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume, and profitability targets.
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitors, and category performance to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Negotiate trade terms, promotional budgets, and pricing strategies to ensure profitability and competitiveness.
  • Track and evaluate sales performance against targets, proposing corrective actions when necessary.

3. Leadership & People Management

  • Lead, coach, and support the merchandising and operations team to ensure flawless in-store execution.
  • Provide direction, motivation, and continuous feedback to enhance team performance and alignment with sales objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to ensure sales priorities are effectively translated into field execution.

4. Product Knowledge & Promotions

  • Maintain strong knowledge of Suu Balm’s full product portfolio, benefits, and positioning.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to design and implement trade promotions, in-store visibility plans, and brand-building activities.
  • Oversee execution of in-store and out-of-store activations (e.g., promotions, roadshows, events) to boost brand awareness and conversion.

5. Business Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze sales data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess account performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Prepare and present regular business reports, including sell-in/sell-out performance, category insights, and promotional ROI.
  • Apply data-driven insights to support decision-making and strengthen business strategies and performance.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure effective coordination, stock availability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising team to ensure proper product placement, visibility, and adherence to trade marketing standards.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives to improve channel efficiency and execution excellence.

7. Continuous Improvement

  • Stay informed about market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Recommend process improvements and innovative approaches to strengthen customer engagement and sales performance.
  • Contribute ideas for category development, trade activation, and retail innovations.

  • Proven track record in managing chained pharmacies or modern trade key accounts.
  • Experience in trade operations & category developments is an advantage.
