Job Description

• Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities within the facility to ensure equipment reliability, safety, and optimal uptime.
• Develop and implement maintenance strategies, manage technical teams, troubleshoot equipment issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and control costs.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, and propose effective troubleshooting solutions.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks, manage technical projects, and apply expertise in electrical and electronic systems—including PLC programming, wiring diagram interpretation, and hands-on wiring work.
• Plan, organize, and monitor scheduled maintenance activities including Corrective Maintenance (CM), Preventive Maintenance (PM), machine service records, and engineering work requests.
• Procure specialized components, fixtures, and fittings as needed.
• Develop and maintain standard maintenance procedures while managing stock levels for tools, supplies, and spare parts.
• Ensure calibration instruments are properly maintained and accurately functioning.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management when required.

Job Requirements

• Possess a professional certificate or a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance, or Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in PLC programming and hands-on experience with PLC systems for troubleshooting and project implementation.
• Solid knowledge of AutoCAD, pneumatic systems, electrical/mechanical systems, and industrial machinery.
• To handle 3 intercos company at Telok Gong Port Klang & Bukit Rambai Melaka
