Job Summary

The Production / Wire Harness Supervisor will lead and manage the wire harness production operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. This role is critical in overseeing the production team and replacing the current contract trainer by taking full ownership of process control, team development, and continuous improvement within the wire harness department.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Management

• Oversee daily wire harness production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets
• Plan and organize manpower, materials, and machine utilization efficiently
• Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders

2. Team Leadership & Supervision

• Lead, supervise, and motivate the production and wire harness team
• Provide hands-on guidance and technical support to operators
• Conduct training and skills development for new and existing staff
• Take over knowledge transfer from current China trainer before contract ends (Nov 2026)

3. Process & Quality Control

• Ensure all wire harness assembly processes comply with quality standards and specifications
• Implement and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and best practices
• Identify process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce defects
• Work closely with QA/QC team on quality issues and corrective actions

4. Technical & Operational Support

• Troubleshoot production and technical issues related to wire harness assembly
• Support new product introduction (NPI), sample development, and testing
• Ensure proper tools, equipment, and materials are available and maintained

5. Continuous Improvement

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives (efficiency, cost reduction, waste minimization)
• Implement lean manufacturing practices where applicable
• Monitor KPIs and prepare production reports

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure workplace safety, housekeeping, and compliance with company policies
• Promote a safe and disciplined working environment

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,531.69 per month
