Job Summary

The Warehouse Assistant Operator (Material Handler) is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, loading, and unloading goods. The role ensures inventory accuracy, proper material handling, and compliance with warehouse safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery documents.
• Load and unload materials, products, and shipments safely and efficiently.
• Pick, pack, label, and prepare orders for dispatch according to customer requirements.
• Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Perform stock counting and assist with inventory control activities.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness and maintain a safe working environment.
• Operate warehouse equipment and tools according to safety procedures.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items to supervisors.
• Assist in stock replenishment and inventory movement within the warehouse.
• Follow company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety regulations.
• Support other warehouse operational tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• Prior warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, or material handling experience is an added advantage.
• Able to perform physical work, including lifting and moving goods.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Responsible, disciplined, and willing to learn.
• Willing to work overtime, shifts, weekends, or public holidays when required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS) is an advantage.
• Forklift driving experience or valid forklift license is an added advantage.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
