Responsibilities

Dear Applicant,

We are a Trading and FMCG company seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented and experienced Account Executive who has a strong balance of strategic and technical abilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the financial accounts of two companies, overseeing balance sheets, cash flow reporting, budget forecasting, and ensuring overall financial accuracy.

The applicant must be proficient in using Xero software and SQL for handling complex financial data and reporting, with a solid understanding of financial principles and managing working capital to optimise liquidity and business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Experienced in preparing monthly management of accounts (full sets)
  • Assist in managing company’s transaction documents: invoices, receipts and payment vouchers
  • Managing claim forms
  • Assist in making monthly scheduled payments
  • Mantaining a healthy cashflow & budgeting for the company
  • Daily upkeeping & maintenance of finance records
  • Reconciling the company’s bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
  • Managing income and expenditure accounts
  • Generating the company’s financial reports using income and expenditure data: Profit & Loss, Balance Sheets, Cashbook, Creditor and Debtor
  • Keeping a check on the company’s finances based on financial status
  • Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
  • Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company: XERO & SQL
  • Minor in HR administrative work

Requirements

  • Minimum Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Worked in FMCG/Trading industry will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 3 years of experience is a must
  • Team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Words / Excel / Power Point
