Position : Software Specialist

Salary : RM 3,000 - RM 4,500

Location : Desa Aman Puri, Kepong

Working Hours : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Specialist to design, customize, and enhance software solutions based on customer and business requirements. The role involves working closely with internal teams and customers to deliver tailored solutions, ensure system quality, and support continuous product improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain customized software solutions based on client requirements.
• Engage with customers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including specifications and system configurations.
• Develop test data and support system testing, validation, and release activities.
• Support product demonstrations and solution presentations for clients.
• Collaborate with R&D and internal teams on enhancements, bug fixes, and system improvements.
• Provide L1/L2 support, including troubleshooting, issue analysis, and data correction when required.
• Contribute to improving software quality, testing processes, and product stability.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, customization, or application support.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in SQL and software testing.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of web servers, virtual machines (VM), or system deployment is an advantage.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
