Job Summary

• Translates complex architectural, structural, and dense MEP designs into data-rich 3D digital models.
• Focuses on zero-fault clash detection, precise spatial tolerances, and multidisciplinary coordination for mission-critical infrastructure.

Core Responsibilities

• Model Authoring: Build and maintain detailed 3D models (LOD 350–500) for data center infrastructure using Autodesk Revit.
• Documentation: Generate accurate, construction-ready 2D shop drawings, plans, and schedules directly from the 3D models.
• Clash Detection: Run spatial coordination checks using Navisworks Manage to resolve system conflicts (e.g., heavy electrical containment vs. cooling systems) before on-site installation.
• Standard Compliance: Adhere strictly to the project's BIM Execution Plan (BEP), naming conventions, and client-specific data center standards.
• Data Integration: Link 3D models to construction schedules (4D) and cost estimates (5D) as required.
• Collaboration: Update models based on design changes (RFIs) and coordinate seamlessly with engineers, trade subcontractors, and client teams.

Education & Experience

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical), or a dedicated BIM/VDC discipline.
• Experience: 2–5 years as a BIM Modeler, with a strong preference for experience in data centers, mission-critical infrastructure, or high-density industrial projects.
• Certifications: Professional certification in Autodesk Revit or Navisworks is highly desirable.

Software & Hardware Requirements

• Core Software: Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks Manage, and AutoCAD.
• Collaboration Tools: Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360 for cloud collaboration.
• Reality Capture: Familiarity with Autodesk ReCap for processing site laser scans and point cloud data.
• Hardware Capability: Proven experience operating high-performance BIM workstations (Intel i7/i9 or AMD Ryzen, NVIDIA RTX/Quadro graphics, minimum 32GB RAM) capable of handling massive, high-density data models.

• Deep understanding of high-density MEP coordination, engineering principles, and blueprint reading.
• Extreme attention to detail regarding exact equipment dimensions and maintenance access clearances.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills to resolve design issues with site stakeholders.
