Position Purpose
The Planning & Scheduling / CMMS Engineer is responsible for the development, control, and optimisation of the Preventive Maintenance schedule for the KTP-A Data Center. This role manages the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and ensures all PM tasks are planned, tracked, and reported accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
PM Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain the Annual and Monthly Preventive Maintenance Plan in alignment with OEM recommendations and Day One’s approved scope
- Publish the forward PM schedule to the Engineering Manager and Day One in advance of each period
- Coordinate with the Lead Electrical and Lead Mechanical Engineers to confirm resource availability and schedule feasibility
- Manage PM deferrals, rescheduling, and make-up plans, ensuring compliance is maintained and deviations are formally documented and approved
CMMS Administration
- Administer and manage the CMMS platform (or equivalent approved tool) for all PM work orders at KTP-A
- Ensure all PM work orders are raised, assigned, tracked, and closed accurately and on time
- Maintain the CMMS asset register, PM task library, and maintenance history for all covered equipment
- Generate PM completion reports, KPI dashboards, and compliance reports from the CMMS
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Monitor PM Schedule Compliance (target ≥ 98%), Checklist Completion (target 100%), and Documentation Accuracy (target 100%) on a continuous basis
- Produce and submit the Monthly PM Performance Report to the Engineering Manager for review and submission to Day One
- Identify and flag recurring deficiencies or schedule deviations for root cause analysis
MOP Library & Documentation Control
- Maintain the Method of Procedure (MOP) library for all PM activities at KTP-A
- Ensure all PM checklists, method statements, and supporting documentation are current, controlled, and accessible to the maintenance team
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance planning and CMMS administration, preferably in data center or critical infrastructure environments
- Proficiency in CMMS platforms (IBM Maximo, SAP PM, or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
