On-site in Singapore — a strong technical role for an ICT / Telecoms Engineer who can unblock design issues, resolve RFIs, coordinate across disciplines and keep complex infrastructure programmes moving.

About the role

DARA PEOPLE LTD. is supporting the search for a Telecoms Technical Lead to provide ICT telecoms programme and project support across complex, multi-discipline design environments.

This role sits at the technical coordination point between telecoms, security, controls, architecture, mechanical, electrical, structural and civil teams. You’ll review design information, resolve RFIs, identify clashes, escalate scope blockers and help apply best practice across converged network allocations.

This is not a cost-control or BIM modelling role. The focus is technical review, issue resolution, coordination and programme-level ICT / telecoms support.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve ICT / telecoms RFIs across programme assemblies, design packages and sub-products
• Review telecoms, security, controls, architecture, MEP, structural and civil design interfaces
• Provide written technical review comments, evaluations and reports
• Support cross-discipline coordination and clash resolution
• Escalate telecoms scope issues that are blocking project schedules
• Review and apply best practice for converged network allocations
• Support specification updates, issue tracking and technical documentation
• Provide telecom quantity take-off best practice inputs where required

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Telecommunications, ICT, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Systems Engineering or similar
• Strong ICT / telecoms engineering background within complex project or programme environments
• Experience reviewing RFIs, design packages, specifications and technical submissions
• Comfortable coordinating across telecoms, security, controls, architecture, mechanical, electrical, structural and civil teams
• Strong written technical communication skills
• Able to work with design trackers, document control workflows and issue management systems

Desirable / nice-to-have background

• RCDD certification, or experience working under / alongside an RCDD-certified professional
• Experience with ACC / BIM360, AODocs, Google Docs, Revit-based workflows or internal issue tracking tools
• Background in data centres, mission-critical infrastructure, large campuses, airports, smart buildings, industrial facilities or major telecoms programmes
• Knowledge of converged networks, structured cabling, telecom pathways, ICT infrastructure and network integration best practice
