Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Tour Operation Executive role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Tour Operation Executive will coordinate and plan outbound tour itineraries, ensuring that all travel components such as flights, accommodations, transfers, and activities are accurately arranged and confirmed. The role involves liaising daily with travel agents, suppliers, and internal teams to manage bookings, handle special requests, and resolve operational issues promptly. The Tour Operation Executive will prepare detailed tour documents, maintain accurate records in internal systems, and monitor tour performance to ensure quality and cost-efficiency. This position also supports guided tour operations, including coordinating tour leaders, monitoring guest feedback, and contributing ideas for improving tour products and operational processes.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in tour planning and developing detailed itineraries, with attention to timing, logistics, and traveler experience.
- Skills in tour management and coordination of guided tours, including handling on-ground arrangements and last-minute changes.
- Effective communication skills for working with travel agents, suppliers, and internal teams, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to manage multiple bookings and deadlines, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities to handle service issues and traveler requests professionally.
- Proficiency in standard office software and reservation/booking systems; familiarity with travel industry tools is an advantage.
- Previous experience in tour operations, travel agencies, or related hospitality roles is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is beneficial; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Ability to work on-site in WP. Kuala Lumpur and collaborate effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
