Scandy's is opening its first mini flagship store in a yet undisclosed location in Klang Valley. More than a candy shop, this will be a destination experience bringing the magic of Swedish pick & mix culture to Malaysia.

We're looking for someone entrepreneurial, creative, responsible and hands-on to help build this store from the ground up. Someone who treats it like their own baby. Someone who gets excited by creating experiences, building communities and making customers smile.

This isn't a typical retail manager role. You'll be part store manager, part event creator, part community builder, part content creator, and part entrepreneur.

Scandy's is bringing authentic Swedish candy culture to Malaysia through premium pick & mix experiences, events, online channels and unique retail concepts. Our mini flagship will become the home of Swedish candy in Kuala Lumpur - a place where customers discover new favourites, attend fun events, create content and become part of our growing candy-loving community.

Your Mission

Help build APW into KL's most fun candy destination. You'll be responsible for running the store day-to-day while continuously finding ways to make it more exciting, engaging and successful.

What You'll Do

Store Operations

·      Run daily store operations

·      Deliver an amazing customer experience

·      Manage weekend and part-time staff

Events & Activations

·      Plan and execute regular in-store events

·      Develop creative activations that bring in customers

·      Collaborate with local communities, creators and brands

Community Building

·      Build and nurture Scandy's community of candy lovers

·      Create reasons for customers to return again and again

·      Gather feedback and turn insights into action

Merchandising & Experience

·      Keep the store looking fresh, exciting and Instagram-worthy

·      Create attractive displays and seasonal themes

Content Creation & Marketing

·      Create TikToks, Reels and social content from the store

·      Feature products, events and customer experiences

·      Help grow awareness of Scandy's across Kuala Lumpur

Inventory & Quick Commerce

·      Manage stock levels and inventory

·      Coordinate replenishment

·      Fulfil online and quick-commerce orders

Who We're Looking For

You might have experience in: Retail, F&B, Hospitality, Events, Marketing, Community management, Entrepreneurhip

More importantly, you're someone who:

Takes ownership

Solves problems without being asked

Enjoys talking to people

Is organised and reliable

Is comfortable being on camera

Has strong social media instincts

Wants to help build something from the beginning

Compensation

·      Fixed monthly salary

·      Revenue-sharing component tied to store performance

Employment type: Full-time, contract based

Initial contract: 6 months
