Job Overview

We have built a scrum team of technologists who have developed digital products to improve citizens' experience of using the agency's digital services. The office will be located at Punggol Digital District. As a UX designer, you will work with our scrum team and other government agencies to inform product and design decisions. You will get to influence the digital experience for both our agency users and the members of the public. This will involve having good interpersonal skills, sharp analytical mind, and astute design judgment.

Product and user-centric mindset A desire to serve the public through the use of technology You can translate complexity into clear user journeys, workflows, information architectures, and interaction patterns You can balance user, business, and technical needs and make informed trade-offs, driving product solutions that serve the goals of both the users and stakeholders You are data-driven yourself, with experience in user research, to use data to justify design decisions You can present design strategies and decisions to leadership and stakeholders with clarity and confidence You yearn to analyse user feedback and activity, and iterate on the design to enhance user experience Technologist at work You can tackle complex tasks and transform them into intuitive, accessible, and easy-to use designs You are meticulous and possess good problem-solving skills Mastery of design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Miro). Experience working within agile and cross-functional product teams and frontend development knowledge is a bonus Preferred At least 6-8 years of professional experience in UX, interaction, or product design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating complex problem-solving Exposure to AI-driven experiences Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and how to design for diverse user groups
