The Demi Chef provides the consistent delivery of top-tier food quality. He/she assists in managing the cold section of the kitchen and ensures that all outlet operations run smoothly. This includes preparing and cooking high-quality dishes, coordinating with kitchen staff, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.
Our Expectations:
Prepare and cook dishes for cold kitchen outlets including Breakfast Buffet, Brunch, Banquets, and Club Lounge according to recipes and quality standards.
Maintain mise en place and ensure timely preparation for each service.
Coordinate with senior chefs to support smooth kitchen operations and service efficiency.
Ensure food quality, proper temperature, presentation, and plating standards are met.
Monitor ingredient quality and follow proper storage, labelling, and rotation procedures.
Assist with stock control and notify supervisors of replenishment needs.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Participate in daily and deep-cleaning routines as scheduled.
Support other kitchen sections and assist with operational needs when required.
Work with front-of-house associates to accommodate guest dietary requests and feedback.
Maintain professional grooming, hygiene, uniform, and conduct standards at all times.
