Company Description Ardentec Singapore Pte Ltd is a semiconductor company located at Woodlands Loop in Singapore, supporting customers with advanced testing and related services. As part of a global semiconductor ecosystem, the company focuses on delivering reliable, high-quality solutions to integrated device manufacturers and fabless companies. Team members work in a cleanroom and advanced manufacturing environment with modern test equipment and engineering tools. The Singapore site offers opportunities for hands-on experience in semiconductor processes, product engineering, and continuous improvement. Employees collaborate across functions to support technology development, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Role Description The Semiconductor Product Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore. The person in this role will manage and optimize semiconductor products from engineering release through high-volume production, including yield analysis, test program correlation, and performance monitoring. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing production and test data, driving root-cause investigations, defining corrective actions, and coordinating with test, process, and quality teams to improve yield, reliability, and cycle time. The role involves supporting new product introduction (NPI), characterizing devices, qualifying products and processes, and preparing engineering reports and documentation. The engineer will also interface with customers on technical topics, support engineering change requests, and contribute to continuous improvement projects in test methodologies, product performance, and overall manufacturability.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Product Engineering and Product Design, with experience in managing products through qualification, ramp, and mass production.
  • Proficient Analytical Skills, including statistical analysis of large data sets, yield analysis, and problem-solving using systematic methodologies (e.g., 8D, DOE, SPC).
  • Experience in Research and Development (R&D), including device characterization, experiment design, and validation of new test or process solutions.
  • Effective Communication skills, with the ability to present technical findings clearly and collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Microelectronics, Physics, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing, wafer sort and final test, test platforms, and reliability / qualification standards is preferred.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment, with strong attention to detail and a focus on quality and safety.
  • Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, JMP, Python, or similar) and understanding of basic circuit / device behavior is an advantage.
