Role Description

Join YTL AI Cloud and play a key role in delivering the infrastructure that powers one of the largest single clusters of NVIDIA GB200 GPUs in the world. We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of AI infrastructure, data center, and GPU cluster build programs at Kulai, Johor. In this full-time, on-site role, you will drive end-to-end project delivery, coordinate cross-functional stakeholders, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure the successful execution of critical infrastructure initiatives supporting advanced AI workloads.

You will work closely with engineering teams, vendors, local partners, and business stakeholders to deliver projects on schedule while driving operational excellence, process improvements, and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead AI infrastructure, data center, and GPU cluster build programs from initiation through completion.
• Develop and align project execution strategies with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
• Coordinate project execution across internal teams, external vendors, contractors, and local partners.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, dependencies, and obstacles, and drive timely issue resolution.
• Track project milestones, performance metrics, and operational KPIs to ensure successful delivery.
• Communicate project status, risks, recommendations, and key decisions to stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Drive process improvements and implement scalable solutions to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency.
• Manage daily project operations to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, quality standards, and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven experience managing complex technical infrastructure projects or programs.
• Experience in data centre infrastructure deployment is highly desirable.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across technical and business teams.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, including external vendors, suppliers, and geographically distributed stakeholders.
• Experience managing project risks, dependencies, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage ambiguity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree or equivalent experience managing large-scale technology infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of data center technologies, AI infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, or mission-critical environments.
• Experience managing capital-intensive infrastructure projects.
• Professional proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable to facilitate communication with regional stakeholders, partners, and vendors.
