Role Description The Project Executive is a contract, on-site role based in Bandar Baru Bangi, responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of aerospace research and technology projects. The role involves assisting in project scoping, preparing work plans and timelines, tracking progress, and ensuring adherence to budget, quality, and reporting requirements. The Project Executive will coordinate with industry and university partners, schedule and document meetings, and support project governance processes. Day-to-day tasks include preparing project documentation and presentations, monitoring risks and issues, supporting procurement and contract administration, and consolidating technical and financial reports for management review. The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement of project management practices and providing general administrative support to the project team as needed.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated project coordination and project management support skills, including scheduling, progress tracking, and documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with industry, academic, and government partners.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or equivalent tools.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a structured manner.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business, or a related field; exposure to aerospace or high-technology sectors is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Bandar Baru Bangi, collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and adapt to evolving project needs.
- Good written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages relevant to local stakeholders is beneficial.
- Previous experience in research, technology, or innovation-driven environments will be considered an added advantage.
