Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Dentist role based in Singapore with BASEL MEDICAL GROUP PTE. LTD.. The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including routine examinations, diagnosis, treatment planning, restorations, extractions, preventive care, and basic endodontic and prosthodontic procedures. The role includes reviewing medical and dental histories, explaining treatment options, obtaining informed consent, and maintaining accurate, up-to-date clinical records. The dentist will collaborate with dental assistants and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, efficient, and patient-centered care, while adhering to clinical protocols, infection control standards, and regulatory requirements. The position also involves patient education on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and preventive measures, as well as participation in practice-wide quality improvement and continuing education activities.

Qualifications

• Recognized dental degree (e.g., BDS, DDS, DMD) and full registration with the relevant dental council in Singapore.
• Proven clinical competency in general dentistry, including examinations, restorations, extractions, basic endodontics, and prosthodontics.
• Strong patient communication and counseling skills, with the ability to explain diagnoses, treatment plans, risks, and alternatives clearly and respectfully.
• Commitment to high standards of infection control, workplace safety, and evidence-based clinical practice.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a positive, inclusive clinic environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, including the ability to manage appointment schedules and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Willingness to participate in continuing professional development and to adopt new technologies and techniques where appropriate.
• Previous experience in a private clinic or group practice setting in Singapore or a similar environment is an advantage.
