Position Title: Service Engineer (Based in Taiwan)

Our client is a US based MNC specializing in Test Equipment & Industrial Automation Solutions. The role will be required to be based in Taiwan, performing installation, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of semiconductor test equipment to optimize performance and minimize downtime.

Job Responsibilities:

• Creates and implements support plan for customer in conjunction with cross functional groups and customer maintenance team with objectives of reducing equipment downtime and maintenance cost.
• Perform system installation, PM, calibration, retrofit, training, and troubleshooting.
• Escalates service problem and take ownership of problem until it is resolved.
• Provides technical expertise and value to customers
• Provides answers to customer inquiries concerning system.
• Provides hardware development and consultation.
• More senior levels may be provide recommendations/inputs into the next generation product development.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in electronics engineering or related field.
• Experience in working with customer in the semi test area is a plus.
• Has a good working attitude with willingness to work.
• Can work under high pressure & deal with constant requirement changes.
• Having testing or ATE experience will be a plus.
• Fluent in English is a plus.
• Having experience in handler/prober H/W docking integration will be a plus.
• Flexible to support business trip as project requirement
• ATE experience with on site support at OSAT will be a plus.
