About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Floor Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations in our personal care OEM production facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring production targets, product quality, workplace safety, and compliance with GMP requirements while leading production teams to achieve operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure manufacturing schedules are met efficiently.
• Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines, company SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and work closely with the Quality Control (QC) personnel to address deviations and corrective actions.
• Ensure proper documentation, batch records, production reports, and inventory records are accurately maintained.
• Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, QC, and R&D teams to support smooth production operations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production output.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.
• Support audits, inspections, and customer visits related to manufacturing operations.
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Requirements

Mandatory

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Science, Cosmetic Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with direct experience in personal care, cosmetics, skincare, toiletries, or OEM manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements and implementation.
• Experience managing production teams and coordinating shop-floor activities.
• Good understanding of production planning, process control, and quality management systems.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and production reporting.

Good to Have

• Experience with JAKIM Halal Certification requirements, implementation, and audit preparation.
• Experience participating in customer audits and regulatory inspections.
