Control Room Officer
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Control Room Officer to oversee security operations, screening procedures, incident management, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in corporate security, law enforcement, or military environments, with the ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise control room operations and site screening activities to ensure security procedures are followed.
- Monitor and manage screening equipment, systems, and operational processes.
- Ensure compliance with company security policies, certifications, and client-specific requirements.
- Respond to and manage security incidents, emergencies, and safety-related matters.
- Coordinate with authorities, clients, vendors, and internal staff regarding security issues and incident resolutions.
- Prepare incident reports, maintain security records, and ensure timely documentation.
- Conduct routine monitoring and assessments to identify potential security risks.
- Provide guidance, support, and supervision to security personnel.
- Perform multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Work overtime and support operational requirements when necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in any related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in corporate security, military, law enforcement, or related security environments.
- At least 3 years of supervisory experience managing security screening operations, safety matters, and incident handling.
- Experience in Control Room Operations is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of screening equipment, security systems, and screening procedures is an added advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Good computer knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Possession of Security, Medical, First Aid, CPR, or AED certifications will be an added advantage.
- Able to meet account-specific skill, certification, or licensing requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to remain composed under pressure and effectively manage multiple tasks.
- Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required.
