Position: Supervisor TraineePosition Purpose
The Supervisor Trainee is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Company while undergoing structured training to develop supervisory, leadership, and operational management competencies. Upon successful completion of the training and evaluation period, the employee may be considered for promotion to the position of Supervisor, subject to the Company's approval and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Management
- Assist in overseeing and coordinating daily operational activities to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.
- Ensure operational tasks are carried out in accordance with the Company's policies, procedures, and quality standards.
- Support the planning and allocation of work assignments to employees.
- Monitor operational performance and report any issues or irregularities to the immediate supervisor.
2. Staff Supervision and Team Support
- Assist in supervising and guiding employees in the performance of their duties.
- Provide on-the-job coaching and support to team members to improve productivity and service quality.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, and adherence to workplace rules and regulations.
- Escalate disciplinary matters, performance concerns, or workplace conflicts to the relevant superior when necessary.
3. Customer Service
- Respond to customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally and promptly.
- Assist in resolving customer-related issues in accordance with the Company's service standards.
- Promote a positive customer experience and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
4. Administrative and Reporting Duties
- Prepare and maintain operational records, reports, checklists, and other related documentation.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted within the required timelines.
- Assist in compiling daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
5. Inventory and Asset Control
- Assist in monitoring stock levels, materials, supplies, and Company assets.
- Conduct routine stock checks and inventory counts as assigned.
- Report any discrepancies, shortages, damages, or losses to management immediately.
- Ensure proper handling and safeguarding of Company property and equipment.
6. Compliance and Safety
- Comply with and promote adherence to all Company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety requirements.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the workplace.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,200.00 per month
