Job Purpose:
Manage and execute core HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, staff welfare, and employee relations within a nursing home setting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, utilizing behavioral interviewing techniques to assess candidate cultural fit, resilience, and service-oriented mindsets.
- Design and execute structured onboarding experiences that facilitate smooth psychological transition and cultural assimilation for new hires.
2. Employee Relations & Behavioral Management
- Handle disciplinary issues, staff grievances, and conflict resolution by applying mediation and counseling concepts to achieve amicable outcomes.
- Draft warning letters and manage disciplinary inquiries with strict adherence to legal compliance and organizational empathy.
- Monitor employee morale and turnover trends; analyze underlying behavioral factors and suggest actionable retention strategies.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate payroll submission, including the meticulous tracking of attendance, overtime (OT), allowances, and statutory contributions.
- Maintain accurate, confidential HR records and ensure strict compliance with Malaysian Labor Law.
- Support work permit applications, renewals, and foreign worker welfare management.
4. Training, Development & Performance
- Plan and coordinate staff training programs, incorporating adult learning principles to maximize skill retention and engagement.
- Facilitate the performance appraisal process, coaching department heads on constructive feedback delivery and objective goal setting.
- Coordinate closely with department heads to understand team dynamics and address localized HR needs.
5. Policy & Wellness Integration
- Assist in HR policy reviews and SOP implementation, ensuring guidelines promote both operational efficiency and employee well-being.
- Spearhead staff welfare initiatives to maintain a positive, low-stress workplace environment in a fast-paced hospitality setting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Psychology, Human Resource Management, or a related behavioral science discipline.
- Proficiency in Mandarin language is required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of hands-on HR experience (experience within the healthcare/ hospitality industry is highly advantageous).
- Strong familiarity with HRMS systems, Malaysian Labor Law (Employment Act), and end-to-end payroll processing.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence (EQ), and active listening capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and the emotional resilience to work independently and thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
