The Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for forecasting demand, planning material requirements, managing inventory levels, and coordinating supply activities to ensure smooth production operations and timely project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on customer requirements, project schedules, and historical data.
- Plan and monitor material requirements to support production and project activities.
- Ensure optimal inventory levels while minimizing stock shortages and excess inventory.
- Coordinate closely with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and Project teams to align supply with operational needs.
- Monitor material availability and identify potential supply risks.
- Track purchase orders and supplier delivery schedules to ensure on-time material arrivals.
- Prepare production and material planning schedules according to project priorities and production capacity.
- Analyze inventory performance and recommend improvement actions.
- Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems.
- Prepare and present reports on inventory status, forecast accuracy, material availability, and other supply chain KPIs.
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities to balance demand and supply.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay: From RM5,900.00 per month
