The Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for forecasting demand, planning material requirements, managing inventory levels, and coordinating supply activities to ensure smooth production operations and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on customer requirements, project schedules, and historical data.
• Plan and monitor material requirements to support production and project activities.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels while minimizing stock shortages and excess inventory.
• Coordinate closely with Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and Project teams to align supply with operational needs.
• Monitor material availability and identify potential supply risks.
• Track purchase orders and supplier delivery schedules to ensure on-time material arrivals.
• Prepare production and material planning schedules according to project priorities and production capacity.
• Analyze inventory performance and recommend improvement actions.
• Maintain accurate planning data in ERP/MRP systems.
• Prepare and present reports on inventory status, forecast accuracy, material availability, and other supply chain KPIs.
• Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) activities to balance demand and supply.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: From RM5,900.00 per month
