Versatile Creation Hiring! Full Time Supervisor Digital Sculpting - Modeling in Pulau Pinang, Earn up to MYR 8,000 - Ricebowl

Job Responsibilities:

1. Support digital modelling for toy development.

• Evaluate the feasibility and risks of toy production based on reference imagesor conceptual drawings provided by the design team.
• Communicate with the development team using hand-drawn to optimize preliminary design solutions prior to digital modelling to reduce production risk.
• Work close with the ES digital modelling team to support 3D modelling of Initial concept review for toy development.
• Provide the directions of aesthetics and structural design to sculptors.

2. Support the final part geometry creation for Mold manufacture.

• Communicate with design and development teams and plant and tooling vendors for the Mold manufacturing and product decoration and assembly requirement to complete the final part geometries.

3. Manage and schedule sculpting jobs.

• Schedule and follow up on physical modelling for each development milestone.
• Provide general record keeping including tracking key project & service statistics, maintaining relevant CAD management site content, and weekly status reporting to management.

4. Continuous improvement of the digital modelling program.

• Research, evaluate and assist in the implementation of new technologies, innovations and/or methods as it applies to digital modelling processes.
• Improve team’s sculpting and structures design
• Provide toy development skills training to sculptors and associate sculptors. - Define and create toy development guidelines.

5. Support digital modelling for toy development.

• Use Freeform/Zbrush to create 3D sculpts based on the control drawing or reference photos.
• Break up the parts based on the production requirements.
• Design and complete the inner structural design.
• Digital check based on toy safety testing requirements.
• Work close with the design and development team to support 3D modelling for toy development.
• Utilize the standard part geometry for digital modelling development.
• Convert the files to iges and stl files for 3D printing.
• Upload the Cly files to windchill.

6. Support the final part geometry creation for Mold manufacture.

• Work closely with design and development teams and plant and tooling vendors to complete the final part geometry based on the Mold manufacturing and product decoration and assembly requirement.
• Convert the mesh to Creo geometry for final parts geometries creation for CNC tools.
• Support the DIJ nest design based on the decoration requirement.

7. Continuous improvement of the digital modelling program.

• Research, evaluate and assist in the implementation of new technologies, innovations and/or methods as it applies to digital modelling processes.

Job Requirements:

• Undergraduate students in Fine Art/Industrial Design/Digital Animation/Transportation Design/3D modelling/3D sculpting or similar
• Creative Ability: Demonstrated creative skills with a supporting 3D portfolio in Car Design
• Basic 3D Software Knowledge: Familiarity with 3D modelling software such as Maya, ZBrush, Blender, Geomagic Freeform or similar tools
• Understanding of Design Principles: Knowledge of design modelling and sculpting principles, including proportion, line, and surface
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with design, sculpting, and engineering teams, cross functional team
• Communication Skills: Good communication and supervisory skill and English proficient.

Pay: Up to RM8,000.00 per month
