We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our finance team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes and the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a solid foundation in accounting principles.
Job Description:
- Assist in day-to-day accounting operations, including data entry and preparation of journal entries, ensuring all transactions (AR, AP, and GL) are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Verify and process supplier invoices, purchase invoices, and staff claims.
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents such as invoices, delivery orders, and ensure proper monthly filing.
- Prepare payment listings and Payment Vouchers on a timely basis.
- Ensure all Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and fixed asset documentation and schedules are properly maintained and up to date.
- Assist in quarterly and annual stock closing activities.
- Perform reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.
- Handle data entry for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
- Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Requirement:
- Diploma or professional qualification (e.g LCCI) in Accounting or a related discipline.
- Good command of Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin to support business communication needs.
- Solid understanding of accounting standards, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience in accounting or finance functions.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
