Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive new business acquisition and revenue growth across the ICT and technology services sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing strategic client relationships, and promoting technology solutions including cybersecurity, managed services, IT infrastructure, and digital transformation offerings.
This is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Sales Leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within enterprise, SME, and commercial markets.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and solution discussions to understand business requirements.
• Promote ICT solutions, managed services, cybersecurity services, infrastructure solutions, and related technology offerings.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate closely with technical and engineering teams to develop customized client solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
• Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
• Achieve individual sales targets and revenue objectives.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and CRM records.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development, Technology Sales, Account Management, or Solution Sales.
• Experience selling IT solutions, ICT services, cybersecurity solutions, managed services, cloud services, infrastructure solutions, or related technology products.
• Strong understanding of consultative and solution-based selling methodologies.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders.
• Self-driven, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
• Fluent English communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with System Integrators, ICT Providers, MSPs, Technology Vendors, or IT Consulting firms.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or equivalent.
• Existing network within enterprise or commercial sectors.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, networking, cloud services, and IT infrastructure solutions.
