Job Description

Responsibilities

PURPOSE

The Admissions Manager at IMAS International School KL plays a vital role in shaping the student body and supporting the school’s mission through the effective management of the admissions process. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal abilities to ensure a smooth, welcoming and efficient admissions experience for prospective families. The Admissions Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing enrolment strategies, managing application processes and maintaining accurate records to meet the school’s enrolment targets. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire admissions process from inquiry through to enrollment. 
  • Serve as the first point of contact for prospective families, providing timely and professional communication. 
  • Organize and conduct school tours, open days and orientation sessions to showcase the school’s programs, facilities and values. 
  • Evaluate students’ applications, conduct interviews/ assessments as necessary and coordinate with academic teams for placement decisions. 
  • Maintain accurate and up to date admissions data and student records in the school’s management system. 
  • Monitor enrolment trends and generate regular reports for the Principal and senior leadership. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new families, including community outreach and liaison with embassies, expatriate groups and local networks. 
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Department to ensure consistent messaging across admissions materials, digital platforms and promotional events. 
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and school policies related to student admissions. 
  • Provide high levels of customer service to all stakeholders, including timely responses to inquiries and effective follow up. 
  • Assist in onboarding new students and supporting them through the transition process. 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related field.
